"When we decided to renovate our cottage in Provincetown, our challenge was to find someone to execute the project to our exacting specifications, with minimal supervision. Since we live on the west coast, we needed someone we could depend upon to follow through, operate autonomously, and adhere to the details of our plan and the associated timeline. Arthur Reis turned to be the perfect fit for our project; exceeding all our expectations. He sourced excellent subcontractors, including a plumber, carpenter, roofer, electrician, and others. Arthur completed the project within the planned-for nine-month timeline, a rarity in Provincetown, and to our high-quality expectations. The project included custom flooring, custom cabinetry, and was done in a small space that required exact measurements. There was no room for imprecision. Arthur also made excellent suggestions for the few areas that had not been detailed, such as the use of recycled timber beams to replace our existing open ceiling beams. Arthur is a pleasure to work with and has a positive attitude. He’s someone who was genuinely interested in meeting our expectations. He regularly communicated with us, sending photo updates, text messages, and videos. I only needed to do one site visit when the project was about 75% complete."

I engaged with Arthur to complete phase 1 of a major reconstruction project to my foundation. Excavating and raising a house is not an easy task given the conditions of the structure but Arthur and crew made it seem effortless.

There were many unforeseen challenges with this project and Arthur faced them and kept things moving along. He stuck to the budget and most importantly kept me informed of status on a consistent basis. Communication is critical when engaging with any contractor, especially when logistics gets in the way.
